We collect as little as we need to run the service, and we do not sell your personal information. Questions or requests: [email protected].
What we collect
- Email address — to sign you in, deliver picks and receipts, and answer you.
- Name and phone number — only if you give them (for example, opting in to picks by text).
- Purchases — what you bought, when, and the amount. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
- Card photos and card details you submit to the Rip House tools — used only to produce your valuation or grade. Photos are processed on our own server and deleted once the result is returned.
- Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider processes to deliver and protect the site.
Cookies
We use one cookie, aura_s, to keep you signed in for up to 30 days after you follow a sign-in link. We do not use advertising cookies.
Who handles your data for us
- Stripe — payments.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, security and sign-in sessions.
- Zoho Mail — sending and receiving email.
- Netlify — the free-picks sign-up form.
- Your mobile carrier's email-to-text gateway — if you opt in to texts.
Each processes data only to provide its service to us.
Emails and texts
Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and you can reply STOP to any text. Sign-in links and receipts are sent when you ask for them.
How long we keep it
Account and purchase records are kept while you are a customer and as long as needed for tax and accounting. Ask us and we will delete your account data, except records we are required to keep.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or opt out of emails and texts at any time by writing to [email protected].
Age
The site is not for children. Aura Picks is only for adults 21 and over.
