If gambling is causing problems for you or someone you know, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (free, confidential, 24/7) or visit ncpgambling.org.
21+ only
Aura Picks is sports analysis for adults 21 and over. It is information, not betting advice, and it comes with no guarantees: our full record, losses included, is public so you can judge it for yourself.
If you bet
- Bet only money you can afford to lose, and set a budget before you start.
- Never chase losses, and never bet to solve money problems.
- Take breaks. Most licensed sportsbooks let you set deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion.
- Bet only with licensed operators where you are legally allowed to.
Signs it may be a problem
Spending more than you planned, hiding betting from people close to you, borrowing to bet, or feeling unable to stop. If any of that sounds familiar, help is free and confidential.
